| Hi Mathieu,
Thanks for this interesting link! The 7th is the first photo of an Amiot with running motors on ground i saw.... It seems that it was taken in the 30', not in 1939-40, isn't it? Ps: Few of theses are in the Avions Hors-Série n°24, or in the Aero Journal HS on Bombing.

| Hi Mathieu, Picture from your forum : - Citation :
This is the only one Potez 25.47, sometimes called Potez 25 M (M for Ministeriel). It was made for Mr Laurent-Eynac, french Air Minister, in 1929, probably from the former prototype of Potez 25.43 A2. The machine guns and their ring were taken away, and the aircraft carries a spare wheel, halfly integrated in the bottom of the fuselage, under the passenger's seat. Engine was an Hispano-suiza 12 Lb of 600 HP. The aircraft was modified with extra tanks, so it could carry 800 liters of benzine. Sorry for my bad english ... Yours sincerely, Marc

| Beautiful pics ! Many thanks ! The Breguet "Bizerte" is an improvement of the Short "Calcutta", a british flyingboat that was built under license by Breguet in the thirties. A grand-uncle of mine has worked on the prototypes, built in Le Havre. It was a good patrol seaplane, with a long range, that's why the German used it... Pascal | |

| Many of these planes were trainers for beginners : - MS-315/317, some of them still wearing civil immatriculation of their former owners, before they were bought by governemment, - Caudron C-600 "aiglon" ...
Probably a flying school ...

| Hi Mathieu,
The first one is a czech one, made by Avia or Aero, due to the shape of the engine covers..
The second one is french, and sitill wears his "matricule Militaire" under the wings ...
